A Little Bit About Me, Your Sleep Consultant..
Hi, I’m Alisse
Qualified Childcare Practitioner | Certified Sleep Consultant | Family-Focused Care
I’m a dedicated Childcare Practitioner and Sleep Consultant with a strong belief in the power of sleep to transform family life. Over the years, I’ve supported families through everything from newborn sleep challenges to toddler transitions, and I’ve seen how a well-rested child can bring calm, balance, and joy to the entire household.
Where my real love for the science of sleep began..I still think about one of the first families I worked with. Their little one wasn’t sleeping, and it was turning their whole world upside down. Everyone was exhausted, tensions were high, and daily life just felt hard.
We worked together to create a sleep plan that made sense for them. Slowly but surely, things started to improve. Their child began sleeping better, the parents felt more at ease, and the whole household felt calmer and more connected.
That experience really stuck with me. Seeing how much good sleep could change a family’s life. That’s when I knew I wanted to do this work.
I’ve had the privilege of supporting families as they prepare to return to work—a time that often brings a mix of excitement, uncertainty, and emotional overwhelm. One of the most common concerns during this transition is sleep: Will my child nap in a new environment? Will their routine be disrupted? Will they settle with someone new?
With my background in sleep and early childhood care, I understand how deeply connected sleep is to these changes. A shift in caregiving, environment, or daily rhythm can impact your child’s ability to rest—and your peace of mind. That’s why I offer practical, responsive support to guide your family through this transition with confidence.
Using evidence-based strategies, we’ll establish consistent sleep routines that work both at home and within new childcare settings. This helps your child feel secure, rested, and adaptable—and gives you the reassurance you need as you step into this new chapter.
My approach combines professional expertise with empathy, patience, and real-life understanding. I love getting to know each family I work with and building meaningful connections throughout the journey.
When I’m not working, I enjoy the simple things—spending time with friends and family - also being the fun, cool auntie to my 3 gorgeous nieces, reading a good romance book, trying new recipes, or walking along the beach. After spending six months living and working in Ireland on my own, I’ve also learned the importance of taking time for myself—something I encourage in the families I support, too.

“Alisse is an asset to any family. One of our little ones had reflux, needing a lot of parental sleep support, and Alisse was very helpful in getting him to sleep in his cot independently at 8 months, and to this day he is a great sleeper through the night (now aged 2). Our other boy is going on 5 years old – he is also a great sleeper, enjoying his midday nap until he was past 4 years old! Alisse is a gentle presence who is experienced, confident, knowledgeable, and always respectful of parents’ wishes. We couldn’t recommend her highly enough for any family.”
